 Nissan Motor Co.Ltd. is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. It is one of the largest automakers in the world, offering a wide range of vehicles including cars, trucks, SUVs, and electric vehicles.


History:

Nissan was founded in 1933 as the Jidosha Seico Co., Ltd. and later renamed Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in 1934. The company's original focus was on producing small passenger cars, and it expanded its operations over the years to become a global automotive brand.



Electric Vehicles:

Nissan has been a pioneer in electric vehicle (EV) technology. The Nissan Leaf, introduced in 2010, was one of the first mass-produced electric vehicles available to the general public. The company continues to invest in EV development and has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with models like the Nissan Ariya.
